Starting today, Pitchfork, arguably the most important music blog of the last decade, is releasing a new section of their Top 200 Albums of the 2000′s every day for the rest of the week, starting with 200-151.
There are many predictions being thrown around regarding which album will take the top spot, and the blogosphere has been filled with arguments as to which albums will round out the top 10. No one can know for sure until Friday, but it is likely that the final list will spark a fair amount of controversy from its inclusions and omissions. And, of course, there is the fact that the list is being released with three full months still left in 2009. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
